THE RULES:
1) Deleting of posts is not permitted. I have to stand by what I write.
2) Acceptable means of promotion of fics, memes, etc.: crossposting/pimping upon initial posting, mentioning in applicable memes or conversations, mentioning in roundup posts.
3) Unacceptable means of promotion: Requests for comments/readers, reposting in communities after the initial posting, whining, bitching, moaning, passive-agressive crap, posting in fandom!secrets, messaging my friends begging them to pimp it in their journals, etc. etc. etc.
4) Anyone, not just a friend, can alert me to the breaking of the rules.
5) Rule-breaking posts must be tagged as such.
6) If the rule-breaking tag gets used often enough that it rises above the tag cloud's minimum font size, I must take another hiatus.

MISSION STATEMENTS & MANTRAS:

1) I'm here for fandom and friendship, not for rivalry, jealousy, or pettiness.
2) If someone else gets a rec, award, fanart, manip, etc., it's not because the giver likes that person more; it's because the giver likes that person TOO.
3) If a meme or fic doesn't fly, it doesn't fly; the sun will rise again tomorrow.
4) We are all equals. Nobody is a better or higher-level person than me and nobody is a bad fan or bad ficcer. That kind of stuff belongs inside the thought bubble, not outside. Everyone has a real life with circumstances.
